TwiFree Terms of Service

Terms for using TwiFree to parse publicly accessible X (formerly Twitter) video-post URLs.

Effective date: July 26, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using TwiFree, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be legally able to enter into these terms, or use the service with permission from a parent or legal guardian, and you must comply with the laws that apply to you.

2. What the service does

TwiFree is a web-based tool for parsing URLs of publicly accessible X video posts. You provide the URL of a public X post containing a video, and the service resolves the media information and media URL that X makes available so you can preview or download the video.

The service is not designed to access private, protected, deleted, age-restricted, region-restricted, or otherwise unavailable posts, and it must not be used to bypass access controls or technical restrictions.

3. Video hosting and operational records

TwiFree does not upload, re-encode, or host the video files returned by the parser. Those files are delivered from media URLs and infrastructure provided or controlled by X. X controls whether the original post and video remain available.

To operate the parser and public discovery features, TwiFree may retain limited records such as public post identifiers, public author information, preview-image URLs, resolved media URLs, timestamps, aggregate counters, and technical or security logs. These operational records are not a hosted copy of the video file.

When X removes or restricts a source post or changes a media URL, the corresponding video may stop working immediately. A stale reference or preview may take a reasonable amount of time to disappear from TwiFree.

4. Permitted use

  • Submit only URLs for public X posts that you are legally permitted to access.
  • Use parsed media only for lawful purposes and only when you have the necessary permission or a valid legal basis.
  • Respect copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, and other rights belonging to creators, people shown in the content, and third parties.
  • Take full responsibility for how you download, save, share, publish, or otherwise use any resolved media.

5. Prohibited use

  • Do not use the service to access private or restricted content, evade platform controls, or obtain content you are not authorized to access.
  • Do not use the service for unlawful, infringing, abusive, exploitative, deceptive, harassing, or harmful activity.
  • Do not overload the service, run unauthorized automated requests, bypass rate limits, probe security controls, introduce malicious code, or interfere with normal operation.
  • Do not reverse engineer the service to obtain private systems, credentials, provider details, or non-public data.
  • Do not represent that TwiFree endorses, owns, or is affiliated with any source post, creator, account, product, or campaign.

6. Rights in the website and source content

The software, design, branding, and original materials used to operate TwiFree belong to their respective owners or licensors. These terms do not grant you ownership of them.

TwiFree does not claim ownership of videos, posts, account names, profile information, or other content originating on X. Rights in that material remain with the relevant creators, rights holders, and platforms. Parsing a URL does not give you permission to use the resulting content.

7. Complaints about the original X post or video

X hosts and controls the original post, account, and video. Copyright, trademark, privacy, impersonation, safety, illegal-content, account, or source-removal complaints should be submitted to X through its official Help Center forms.

TwiFree cannot delete a source post, video file, or account from X. Removing a reference from TwiFree does not remove the original material from X or from any other service.

8. Problems limited to a TwiFree page

For a broken link, incorrect author or preview information, or a stale reference shown on a TwiFree page, contact us on Telegram. Include both the original X post URL and the affected TwiFree page URL so the issue can be identified.

This contact is for technical issues on TwiFree. It is not a substitute for sending copyright, privacy, safety, or other complaints about the source content to X. We do not promise a specific response time or outcome.

9. Third-party service and no affiliation

TwiFree is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or operated by X Corp. “X,” “Twitter,” related names, and their marks belong to their respective owners.

The service depends on third-party websites, networks, media URLs, and technical interfaces. Your use of X and any external destination remains subject to that third party’s own terms, policies, restrictions, and availability.

10. Availability and changes to the service

Media URLs can expire or change, and available formats, quality, previews, rankings, counters, and results may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. We do not guarantee that any post can be parsed or that any resolved file will remain available.

We may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service when needed for security, maintenance, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or operational reasons.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all express or implied warranties, including warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

You are responsible for checking the source, ownership, legality, safety, format, and suitability of any content before using or downloading it.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TwiFree and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of revenue, claims by third parties, or harm arising from your use of the service or source content.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.

13. Enforcement and updates to these terms

We may block requests, restrict access, or take other reasonable measures when we believe the service is being misused or these terms are being violated.

We may update these terms when the service, law, or operational requirements change. The effective date shown above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
